Week 3 Post 3

Reflecting on what I learned this week and how I handle social situations, it makes a lot of sense. I definitely have used the social attributes and information types to make quick judgments about people. A lot of the time I am right about things when I analyze the social situation with this lens, weather I do it consciously or subconsciously. This could definitely connect to the placebo effect because of how it involves us using shortcuts to process information; and when using shortcuts, the information can usually be influenced and changed.

What aspects of our social situations do we need to practice observing in order to effectively deceive someone? Is deception using altercation of these aspects different for people with mental disabilities that can inhibit their perception of social situations such as autism?
