Week 4 Post 3

 This new learning is very insightful into a new area of manipulation. When reading about placebos, it made me think about how the appeal to the authority of the doctor has to do so much with the effect of the actual placebo treatment and its outcome. This learning was also helpful because it demonstrated how physical things can help influence and manipulate a person.

I think that the next step in my learning will be to research fallacies and the manipulation surrounding them. After reading about placebos and the doctor's underlying manipulation behind them, think that the main factor in many forms of manipulation is tied to fallacies. What if the best way to successfully tell and maintain a lie is by using fallacies.
