Week 5 Post 3

     This week's learning was very insightful into deception and how we use it in society. It showed how we can be influenced by fallacies in our everyday lives and how susceptible we can be to this form of deception. This learning expanded my understanding of deception by teaching me about the specific ways deception is utilized, especially in arguments.

    I wonder if there are any other concepts similar to fallacies, related to deception that would allow a slightly broader sub-topic of deception to be studied. I also wonder how deeply fallacies are interconnected with other types of deception. I think that now I should focus on areas of deception, some broad and some more narrow, and their connection to our modern society.
