Week 9, Post 3

    This week's learning was insightful to how deception plays a role in the news and media today. After learning this, I think that a lot of deception in our society can be traced to deceitful forms of information and the information that we choose to believe based on our own biases. 

    I think that based on this, deception in politics would be a valuable topic to pursue next. I think that deception in the news is closely related to politics since campaigns and political issues are what most large news outlets focus on. If deception in the news is such a big issue perhaps those controlling the news are the ones that benefit the most from the agenda promoted by the news.
