Week 12, Post 3
This learning was very interesting and I learned a lot about the heavens gate cult and others like it. This showed me how cults draw people in using deception. It also showed me how real this issue could be because I never really considered it as an issue. Along with that it showed how intertwined it is with all the other deceptive aspects of society. Since this is my last blog I guess this won't be leading me down any new paths but I think that this whole topic has been very valuable and insightful. I have learned a lot about the psychology of deception as well as how it surrounds me and I think that moving forward in life I will be more aware of my surroundings and what I am consuming. I think that this will honestly help me grow and not get roped into deceitful traps laid by this society.
